It is with heartbreak that OBAR has learned of the sudden passing of long-time member Kim Endre yesterday, July 17, 2023. Kim joined OBAR in 2004 and immediately began volunteering her time for the Association. Kim served on over 20 committees during her years with OBAR, including serving as President of the Association from 2010 through 2011. She served almost every position on the Board of Directors including multiple years as Treasurer, and was a current Director since 2022. Her service work continued on the state level having served on multiple NCR committees, and was elected to serve as Vice President of Region 1 in 2020 and 2021. On the national level, Kim was working on completing NAR's Leadership Training that began this year. Through her commitment to best serve her clients, and her passion for learning, she earned many certifications and designations along the way.
Kim received many awards, including REALTOR® of the year in 2011, Chair of the Year in 2018, President's Above and Beyond in 2016, and NCR Rising Star Award in 2008. What was probably the most important award that Kim earned because of her passion for RPAC was the Colvin Cup, which she received multiple times, including 2022.
As we mourn the loss of our friend and colleague, let us unite to support one another and honor her remarkable legacy. In the face of this profound loss, may we draw inspiration from her passion, dedication, unwavering kindness and contagious smile.
