Trending with NAR reports, October sales in the Outer Banks were down compared to October 2022. However, the median sale price for residential property was at a record high of $602,000 and the median sale price for a single family detached homes was also at a record high of $672,000.
Some other positive results for October include:
- Total active inventory was up
- 258 new listings were added to the MLS
- 101 lots/land units sold, with inventory up 532 units and Days on Market dropped by 20 days compared to September of this year
- Most towns showed an increase in median residential sales price compared to September of this year. Duck was up $85,875, while Roanoke Island was up $31,000 compared to October 2022
