NAR's Code of Ethics (CoE) three-year cycle deadline is December 31, 2024. In past cycles, OBAR staff has been tasked with contacting members right up until the deadline to ensure their membership is not suspended. Not sure if you have met the requirement in the past three years? Members can check their Code of Ethics training status and even take the NAR two and a half hour course free online at Code of Ethics Training (nar.realtor). Taken the Code of Ethics course elsewhere? Please forward a copy of the ethics completion certificate to Membership Services Director Karen Pierce at Karenp@outerbanksrealtors.com.
REMINDER: Code of Ethics training is a requirement from the National Association of REALTORS. The annual Update and Elective course are required by the NC Real Estate Commission.
