The Outer Banks Association of REALTORS® and the Albemarle Area Association of REALTORS® have partnered to offer the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) Course in-person, for FREE to members. But wait, there's more. Because the associations strongly believe, in light of the NAR settlement agreement, that ALL REALTORS® should have the ABR designation - lunch, snacks, beverages, and the NCREC elective upload credit cost is also included. The two-day course, normally $295, is being held from 8:30 am to 5 pm on October 8th and 9th in the OBAR office Killgore Training Room. REEA "Educator of the Year", and instructor extraordinaire, Stephanie Walker will be presenting the course. FYI - The location may be changed to a Kitty Hawk venue if registration exceeds capacity.

NAR is also offering the course online for free every two weeks. To obtain the designation, once you complete this course, you must complete a qualifying elective course online, in-person, or in a virtual format; and must have completed five transactions as a buyer's rep in your career.
